The parrots caught will be freed.Two persons were arrested on Thursday with 60 parrots from Rampur Check Post.

The area falls in Valmiki Nagar Tiger Reserve (VTR) under Madanpur police station area in Bihar's West Champaran district, a forest officer said.

The forest guards and district policemen intercepted a bus in the VTR and nabbed two persons Md. Akbar Siddique alias Bholu and Md. Sayeed, residents of Patna and West Champaran districts respectively, Madanpur forest area ranger Sadan Kumar said.

A case has been registered under relevant provisions of the wild life protection act as they used to trap birds for commerial purposes, he said.

The birds will be freed in the VTR for which necessary order has been issued, Kumar said.
