Ring-necked parakeet stuck at Leidsenhage

The poor animal got stuck at the roofing of the shoppingcentre.

Animal rescue couldn't save the bird and called for help from the local fire departement at Leidschendam-Voorburg (The Netherlands). They came to the rescue with a mobile platform.

The mobile platform made the rescue quite easy. The Ring-necked parakeet was transferred into the care of the animal rescue team. They checked it on possible injuries and will take it in for a few days of observation.
