Cheeky: This brightly-coloured Parakeet made a sudden appearance in front of a speed camera on the M6The cheeky parrot spent some time peering into the camera on the M6 in Staffordshire this morning.
Workers at the Highways Agency are used to being 'tweeted' by angry motorists.
However, at one point today, they were faced with a completely different kind of situation.
This brightly-coloured parakeet decided to show his face in a speed camera located on one of the UK's busiest motorways.
The cheeky parrot spent some time peering into the camera on the M6 in Staffordshire this morning.
His appearance amused workers at the Highways Agency - which looks after Britain's motorways.
They decided to send out this tweet with a picture of the exotic bird following the incident at 11am near Kidsgrove.
